| هٰذَا بَاْبُ الْفَاْعِلِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَعَدَّهُ فِعْلُهُ إِلَى مَفْعُوْلٍ | 1٦٩٩٢١ | this is the topic of the enactant whose action does not overstep it to a coactant |
| وَالْمَفْعُوْلِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَعَدَّ إلَيْهِ فِعْلُ فاْعِلٍ | 2٠٣٩٠٨ | and of the coactant to which the action of an enactant does not step |
| ولَمْ يَتَعَدَّهُ فِعْلُهُ إِلَى مَفْعُوْلٍ آخَرَ | 3٧٧٣٧٩ | and whose action does not overstep it to another coactant |
| وَالْفَاْعِلُ وَالْمَفْعُوْلُ فِي هٰذَا سَوَاْءٌ | 4٦٣٦٣١ | and the enactant and the coactant in this are equivalent |
| يَرْتَفِعُ الْمَفْعُوْلُ كَمَا يَرْتَفِعُ الْفَاْعِلُ | 5٣٢٦٢٠ | the coactant foregrounds just as the enactant foregrounds |
| لِأَنَّكَ لَمْ تَشْغَلْ الْفِعْلَ بِغَيْرِهِ وَفَرَغْتَهُ لَهُ | 6٣٩٢٣٣ |
since you do not engage the action
by other than it i.e. the coactant
and you
vacate it for itReading فَرَغْتَ الْمَفْعُولَ لِلْفِعْلِ
you make the coactant "unoccupied" by anything but the verb.
|
| كَمَا فَعَلْتَ ذٰلِكَ بِالْفَاْعِلِ | 7٠٧٧٧٦ | as you do that with the enactant |
| فَأَمَّا الْفَاْعِلُ الَّذِي لَا يَتَعَدَّاْهُ فِعْلُهُ | 8٦٢١٩٨ | and as for the enactant whose action does not overstep it |
| فَقَوْلُكَ ذَهَبَ زَيْدٌ وَجَلَسَ عَمْرٌو | 9٣٦٢١٧ |
well, your saying
ðahaba zaydᵘⁿ «Zayd went»
and
jalasa ʕamrᵘⁿ«Amr sat»
|
| وَالْمَفْعُوْلُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَعَدَّهُ فِعْلُهُ | 10٥٣٧٧٣ | and the coactant whose action does not overstep it |
| وَلَمْ يَتَعَدَّ إِلَيْهِ فِعْلُ فَاْعِلٍ | 11٥١٧٣٣ | and to which the action of an enactant does not step |
| فَقَوْلُكَ ضُرِبَ زَيْدٌ وَيُضْرَبُ عَمْرٌو | 12١٢٥٩٢ |
well your saying
ḍuriba zaydᵘⁿ «Zayd was struck»
and
yuḍrabᵘ ʕamrᵘⁿ«Amr is being struck»
«Amr will be struck»

| فَالْأَسْمَاْءُ الْمُحَدَّثُ عَنْهَا | 13٤٦٢٣٥ | for the substantives are what is reported on |
| وَالْأَمْثِلَةُ دَلِيْلَةٌ عَلَى مَا مَضَى ومَا لَمْ يَمْضِ | 14٣٥٨٨٤ | and the forms are indicators on what has completed and what has not completed |
| مِنَ المُحَدَّثِ بِهِ عَنِ الْأَسْمَاْءِ | 15٤٦٤٧٥ | of what is reported on, about the substantives |
| وَهُوَ الذَّهَاْبُ والْجُلُوْسُ والضَّرْبُ | 16٧٣٤٧٥ | it being going and sitting and striking |
| وَلَيْسَتْ الْأَمْثِلَةُ بِالْأَحْدَاْثِ | 17٤٧٥٥٤ | and the forms ⌊are not⌋ happenings |
| وَلَا مَا يَكُوْنُ مِنْهُ الْأَحْدَاْثُ | 18٤١٧٢٥ | nor that from which the happenings are |
| وَهِيَ الْأَسْمَاْءُ | 19٨١٧٤٥ | and they are the substantives |

٩هٰذَا بَاْبُ الْفَاْعِلِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَعَدَّهُ فِعْلُهُ إِلَى مَفْعُوْلٍ
وَالْمَفْعُوْلِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَعَدَّ إلَيْهِ فِعْلُ فاْعِلٍ
ولَمْ يَتَعَدَّهُ فِعْلُهُ إِلَى مَفْعُوْلٍ آخَرَ
